What do I wear?
Comfortably, anything is fine. If you are looking for dermatological benefits you are welcome to sit in shorts and a tank top, or your swimsuit.
Is the booth warm?
The temperature will be the same as the room. If you are chilly feel free to use the blanket provided.
Are there side effects?
Just like being at the beach you may have a slight salt taste on your lips. If you have come in for respiratory issues with a lot of mucus you may experience a cough or runny nose as the salt breaks that stuff up.
Is it safe for children?
Yes, it is safe for children 3 months and older. Children usually respond quickly!
Are electronics allowed in booth?
No, we ask that no electronics be taken in booth as the salt may cause corrosion. This includes phones, tablets, gaming devices and electronic watches. Take this time to relax, breath and enjoy. Feel free to take a book or magazine from the room in the booth.
How many sessions will I need?
How soon will I see benefits?
While some may experience marked improvements after their first session, others may take 3-6 sessions to feel noticeable differences. It will likely depend on the severity of your symptoms as well as if you are dealing with an acute or chronic condition. In order to continue feeling the positive effects of dry salt therapy, it is best to be on a maintenance schedule. Your schedule will depend on your symptoms. Without a regular maintenance program, symptoms may eventually return.
What is the difference between a basic and a basic plus session?
There is just a slight difference in the two. Basic is 10 minutes versus 15 minutes for the basic plus. Also, the concentration of salt is slightly higher in the basic plus. It is recommended to start with the basic. Basic is also best for the pediatric population.
Do you take Walk-Ins?
Walk-Ins are welcome, however with only one booth there may be a wait. All pre-booked clients will receive sessions on time.
What is your cancellation policy?
Sessions must be cancelled 24 hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged.
